Govt committed to improve financial health of BSNL & MTNL
The government is committed to improve the financial health of the public sector telecom companies- BSNL and MTNL. Replying to supplementaries during the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha today, Communication Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the government is concerned about the plight of the telecom companies. He said the government has taken up the matter on priority basis so that they can be more competitive in the market. Mr Prasad said that he is personally monitoring the functioning of the BSNL towers across the country.
